Dr. Michael Henry graduated from Sanger High School and obtained a degree in Physiology from the University of California at Davis. After post-graduate work at Georgetown University, he earned his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine, graduating with honors. Dr. Henry's ophthalmology training was completed at Vanderbilt Eye Institute in Nashville, Tennessee, followed by a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery and neuro-ophthalmology in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Henry performs no stitch, no shot cataract surgery at Noble Surgery Center with assistance from the latest in cataract technology, the LenSx laser system. While Dr. Henry is trained in comprehensive ophthalmology, he also specializes in reconstructive/cosmetic eyelid surgery and treating neuro-ophthalmic conditions. Along with traditional surgical modalities, he is well versed in the use of cosmetic Botox®, Restylane®, Juvéderm®, Radiesse®, as well as Pelleve and laser technology for facial rejuvenation.
Dr. Henry returned to the Central Valley with his wife and their two children. The majority of his family still resides in Sanger. Dr. Henry enjoys snow skiing, golf, and sailing.
